BKON Welcomes Industry Veterans to Leadership Team

BKON®, creators of the transformative extraction brewing process called RAIN® (Reverse Atmospheric Infusion®) welcomes industry veterans Itamar Loss and Ron Contaxis to its leadership team.
Itamar Loss will serve as BKON’s Vice President of R&D, bringing extensive knowledge of BKON’s RAIN technology to this role. As the lead engineer at coffee equipment systems manufacturer, Franke Coffee Systems, Itamar spent years working in unison with BKON CEO Dean Vastardis to commercialize BKON’s RAIN-powered, single-cup system, the BKON Craft Brewer and BKON Craft Cloud platform.
Itamar’s deep technical understanding of RAIN’s flavor outcomes for natural beverages is being leveraged to advance BKON’s next generation STORM XL brewer and accelerate the commercialization of teas, craft waters, and other non-coffee beverage at an industrial level.
BKON is also growing their sales team with the addition of Ron Contaxis as Vice President of Sales. Ron brings with him over 35 years of coffee industry experience with multiple sales leadership posts at equipment manufacturing leaders, Fetco and Wilbur Curtis. He will play a leadership role in helping BKON scale its business development activities and accelerate partnerships with large enterprise companies.
